I have set myself a challenge to make as many things as I can out of 2 metres of burlap (hessian). I've already made my Merry Christmas burlap banner and my Lindt chocolate tree, but what else can I make?
Here is some burlap love from pinterest.
Decisions, decisions? What would you make?

I love all of these. I've started small this year with a burlap tree skirt, but will definitely do more next Christmas!
ReplyDeleteYears ago, I made burlap throw pillows for my couch, and put a lacy doily in the middle of the top of the pillow, so you had the contrast of the burlap and lace.
ReplyDeleteI love the burlap Christmas stockings.
Loving the ideas, you are very talented !!!
ReplyDeletelove the wine bottle sacks - great for some presents and the Christmas stockings.
ReplyDeleteWheeee! So many beautiful things out of burlap. I love it. I always wash it a few times before I sew with it. Then it is so soft and sweet!

Love all of your images. I like the idea of a burlap christmas skirt but won't get to it this year. I did make a table runner a while ago. ;-)

ReplyDeleteLove, love your blog, thank you for visiting mine and your comments :). I will be taking some time to look at your blog more closely as I love what I have seen so far but sadly I have to dash out the house so will come back again later.
ReplyDeleteNice to meet someone closer, most bloggers are in the USA, nice to have a Aussie friend. Blogs are not that well known in NZ and I am trying to get known but it takes time thats for sure.
I will be back again soon.

I just love all of the ideas for burlap! I found you via DIY Showoff- I knew I'd like your style because I have that same photo of the chairs pinned too :)
ReplyDeleteI just love everything that you pinned - was tempted to just re-pin everything. :) Thanks for the (p)inspiration!
